Because we deal with high-value items, including gold, diamonds, and fine jewellery, our exchange and refund policies are designed to protect our customers while maintaining the highest standards of quality and authenticity.

1. General Conditions

To qualify for an exchange or refund, items must meet the following conditions:

  • The item must be in its original condition, unused, and unworn.
  • The item must include:
    • Original packaging
    • Product tags
    • Authentication certificates (if applicable)
    • Original invoice or proof of purchase
  • Altered, engraved, resized, or customized items cannot be returned or refunded unless manufacturing defects are present.

2. Exchange Policy

We offer exchanges under the following conditions:

a. Time Frame

  • Items may be exchanged within 14 days of the purchase date.
  • For online orders, the exchange period is 14 days from the delivery date.

b. Eligible Items

  • Standard gold and jewellery items purchased at current market pricing.
  • Items that pass inspection for condition and authenticity.

c. Non-Eligible Items

  • Custom-made designs
  • Items purchased on clearance or special promotions
  • Items that show signs of wear, damage, or alteration

d. Exchange Value

  • Exchange value is calculated based on:
    • The current daily gold rate for gold items
    • The invoice value for diamond and gemstone items (unless otherwise stated)

3. Refund Policy

Refunds are available only under specific conditions:

a. Eligible Refund Cases

  • Manufacturing defect confirmed by our quality team
  • Incorrect or wrong item shipped
  • Damaged item during delivery

b. Non-Refundable Items

  • Gold items sold by weight
  • Custom-made or engraved jewellery
  • Items altered upon customer request (resize, adjustments, etc.)

c. Time Frame

  • Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of purchase or delivery.

d. Refund Method

Refunds are issued using the same payment method used for the original purchase.
Please allow 7–14 business days for processing.

4. Online Orders – Returns Process

If you placed your order online, you may request an exchange or return by:

  2. Providing your order number and the reason for return
  3. Packaging the item securely in its original box
  4. Following pickup or delivery instructions provided by our team

After receiving the item, our quality team will inspect it, and we will process the exchange or refund accordingly.

5. Shipping & Fees

  • Return shipping is free for incorrect, damaged, or defective items.
  • For exchanges due to personal preference, shipping fees may apply.
  • Almaleka Jewellery is not responsible for loss or damage caused by customer-side shipping.

6. Important Notes

  • Gold rate fluctuations may affect the value of exchanged items.
  • Gift items must be returned with all accessories and packaging.
  • Items purchased with store credit can be exchanged but not refunded in cash.
